If you ever doubted AKAs appeal to cross-over markets then you should slow your role because the Super Mega Doro has done it for the millionth time.

This time around, the All Eyes On Me hit-maker became the first musician in South African history to feature on the Cover of GQ Magazine when he graced the cover for the publication’s October 2016 issue.

Not only is AKA – who’s real name is Kiernan Forbes – the first South African musician to appear on the cover of GQ Magazine South Africa but he is also one of only four South Africans to ever grace the cover of the international publication.

AKA’s rumoured bae, Bonang Matheba popularly known as the “Queen B” threw a surprise dinner

for the hip hop superstar to congratulate him on his latest achievement. The dinner was held at the Saxon Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg and it was attended by the likes of JR, Ma-E, Da L.E.S., Tumi Molekane, DJ Fanatic and many other heavy hitters as well close friends and family.
